Bespoke Stained Glass Design

Here at Chapel Studio we undertake new commissions alongside our conservation and restoration projects.  The studio is regularly approached from clients all over the UK and from as far afield as Trinidad and Tobago to produce new designs.  We arrange several site meetings to discuss exactly what each client want to be incorporated into the design also it helps us to see the light conditions effecting  the external and internal space which does influence the design process.

Once we have sufficient information we begin to draw up scale designs.  These designs can range from small single panels through to very large 5 light windows and Tracery.  If a faculty is required and the clients are happy with the design it is passed for approval from the PCC’s and DAC’s.  Once the design has been approved by all the relevant official bodies and a faculty has been put in place, work on the new project can begin.
 

New Traditional Leaded Windows

We make and fit new leaded windows for various buildings including churches, listed buildings and private homes.
